- Early Intervention Services
The Arkansas Valley Community Center provides specialized services to children birth to 3 years of age, and their families when a significant development is present. All children develop at different rates and may reach milestones such as sitting, walking, and talking at their own pace. Early Intervention Services (sometimes referred to as Part C) focus on delays in fine motor, gross motor, speech/language, social skills, problem solving and reasoning, and self-help skill development. These services are provided at no cost to families.

- Family Support Services
Family Support Services are used to assist with caring for a child or individual in the family home. In accordance with Most-in-Need Guidelines, and when no other services or supports are available, the Family Support Program may provide assistance with respite care, professional services, uncovered medical and dental expenses, some transportation expenses, assistive technology, home modification, parent and sibling support, and other expenses directly related to the disability of the child or individual. Family Support Services are often supplemental and may not cover the entire need of the individual or child. In these instances, the Child and Family Specialist will work with families to access other community services and supports.
